Frequently asked questions

AYA QR wristbands and name labels: a finder scans the code and you're instantly notified with your child's location. No app, no account.
What is AYA Band?
AYA Band is a QR safety wristband for children. If your child gets lost, a stranger can scan the code and share their location with you — no app, no sign-up needed.
Does AYA track my child?
No. AYA is NOT a tracker. There is no GPS, no battery, no surveillance. The wristband is completely passive — it only activates when someone scans the QR code. No data is collected, no location is shared unless someone actively chooses to help.
What happens when someone finds my child?
They scan the QR code with their phone. With one tap they can share their GPS location with you. You instantly get a push notification with a map showing exactly where your child is — all within seconds.
Is AYA an alternative to AirTag for children?
AYA is a complement, not a replacement. AirTags and GPS trackers require batteries, charging and Bluetooth. AYA has none of that — it's a simple wristband with a QR code. It works on any phone (Android and iPhone), in any country, in 100 languages. No app needed for the person who finds your child.
Does AYA work on Android?
Yes. AYA works on any phone with a camera — Android, iPhone, or any other smartphone. The person who finds your child doesn't need to install an app. They just scan the QR code with their camera.
What data does AYA store?
Almost nothing. We only store your phone number, the child's nickname and the band's code. No national ID, no address, no movement history, no cookies, no tracking. When someone scans the band, we store only the timestamp and the GPS location they voluntarily share. The child's name is deleted automatically when the band expires — and if you want everything removed right away, just contact our support.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code — no password. The only personal thing we store is your child's name, so that only you are notified if someone scans the band — we never show your data publicly. Your child's name is deleted automatically once the band has expired and the trip is over (the wristband only works for 24 hours). Want everything removed right away? Just contact our support. The wristband itself is a small piece of waterproof plastic — cut it off and it's used.
